95% Oxygen
Oxygen is everywhere, boasting nothing less than the title for earth’s most abundant element. This means that it can pop up in unexpected places; sand, for example, is composed of over 50% oxygen. Then there is water (90% oxygen) and ordinary air (20% oxygen). Less obvious, however, is the fact that a full two-thirds of the human body is made up of oxygen. This makes it easy to understand why it is so essential to our survival. The POD™ contains that same oxygen-rich air which our bodies crave: 95% oxygen plus 5% nitrogen and other trace gases found in regular air. So go aheadtreat your cells to a block party!
Just Breathe
Oxygen. Nobody gets by without it: you, a 86-year-old grandmother and her four-year-old grandson, the guy next door with the rainbow hair, marathoners who never quit; even telemarketersthough at times it may appear otherwise. Doing their best to defy nature, some animals try to pretend they can: one close relative of the goldfish lasts for months on end without any oxygen. But at the end of the day, everybody needs their O2 fix. Your body requires it to produce energy. Every one of your trillions of cells depends upon it to survive. So who wouldn’t want a little extra? Try a few POD™ breaths and find out what it can do for you.
Energize
The human body needs two things to produce energy: food and oxygen. We all know where our food comes from, with the exception of fast food; but have you ever thought about where your oxygen has been? Roughly 250 million years ago the earth’s air contained as much as 30% oxygen, but today this number hovers around 21%1. Most of this oxygen comes from nearby parks, yards and forests; the other half from one-celled phytoplankton floating on the surface of the ocean (yes, randombut true!). This means that the oxygen you breathe can and does have to travel through machines, chemicals, engines and other pairs of lungs before reaching yours. Just imagine, if you were able to give your oxygen-hungry heart, brain and muscles relief from this daily dose of polluted air? Get ready to treat your body to the POD™: your very own source of fresh, oxygenated energy.
Rejuvenate
How do you avoid gradually kissing your youthful energy goodbye, as time marches on? Everyone has their own strategy for tackling that familiar tag team of yawns and ticking clock: a shot of espresso, regular exercise, green tea downed by the tankard, or maybe a cold shower if you’re feeling particularly desperate. But have you ever considered a few nice, deep breaths of pure oxygen? Like a sip of mother earth’s finest nectar, it is now in ready supplyjust grab a POD™.
